ZESTY CHICKEN NUGGETS

Ever since I first saw the advert for a Tefal Actifry I have coveted one- a way to make crispy golden chips with the smallest amount of oil! But that was all I really knew it could do, so when Tefal offered me the chance to try and Actifry and gave me some recipe challenges, I was excited to see what else the Actifry could do!

My first challenge from Tefal was to create a healthy chicken nugget recipe. I was happy about this one as I love chicken nuggets! You can watch here how I made them:

I am absolutely sold on how brilliant the Actifry is, it’s totally hassle-free cooking, not only does it cook things very quickly, as it constantly stirs for you, there is no need to stand over the pan stirring. I’m still discovering some of the amazing things that you can make in it!

  4. Remove the paddle from your Actifry, and brush the teaspoon of oil over the cooking pan
  5. Place the nuggets around the pan, leaving a little space between each, and put on to cook for 7 minutes
  6. After 7 minutes, re-insert the paddle, and cook the nuggets for a further 7 minutes.

Notes

If you don’t have an Actifry and would like to oven bake these, place them on a baking tray, spray with oil, and bake for 15-17 minutes at 180c.
