Deliciously crispy, golden chicken nuggetsÂ

Ingredients

- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 slices wholemeal bread from a 400g loaf (whizzed up into breadcrumbs)
- 1 egg (beaten)
- zest 1 lemon
- pinch of dried thyme
- salt and pepper
- 1 tsp oil
Instructions
- Cut the chicken into chunks
- Add the lemon zest, thyme and salt and pepper into the breadcrumbs
- Dip each chicken chunk into egg, and then coat in breadcrumbs
- Remove the paddle from your Actifry, and brush the teaspoon of oil over the cooking pan
- Place the nuggets around the pan, leaving a little space between each, and put on to cook for 7 minutes
- After 7 minutes, re-insert the paddle, and cook the nuggets for a further 7 minutes.
Notes
If you don’t have an Actifry and would like to oven bake these, place them on a baking tray, spray with oil, and bake for 15-17 minutes at 180c.
