1/2 SYN BROWNIES

If you are looking for a little cakey treat these are great for satisfying a craving. They aren’t really proper chocolate brownies, because those taste delicious fo a reason! But the whisked egg whites make these a viable Slimming World alternative if you are feeling the need to bake, and they do taste good!

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs separated
  • 70 g sweetener
  • 60 g cocoa powder not hot chocolate
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Frylight

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven at 180ºc, spray a baking tin with Fry Light (I used my round cake tins with the pop out bottoms, and covered the bottom with greaseproof paper/frylight)
  • Whisk the egg whites until they form soft peaks.
  • In a separate bowl add the egg yolks, sweetener, vanilla essence & cocoa
  • Whisk until mixed but you can add a bit of water if the mixture is too stiff
  • Then fold in the egg whites
  • Pour the mixture into the tins
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Remove from tins and divide into 16 pieces

Notes

Anchor Light aerosol spray cream is 1 syn for a 12.5g serving, and goes very well with this and some raspberries!
