YOGHURT COATED BLUEBERRIES
This isn’t really a recipe, but an idea for a snack that is so simple it’s genius! Dip any fresh fruit into fat free yoghurt and freeze it- voila! A tasty snack to stop you reaching for anything more syn-ful!
Yoghurt coated blueberries
- Total Time: 15 minutes
- Yield: 1 1x
Description
A great healthy snack
Syn-free
Ingredients
Scale
- 150 g Blueberries (strawberries, raspberries, banana- whatever fruit you fancy!)
- 1 Fat-free yoghurt (flavoured or plain) (I used Muller Light vanilla for the blueberries pictured)
Instructions
- Line a baking tray (that will fit into your freezer) with greaseproof paper. (I used a little water to adhere it to the tray and prevent it from sliding around)
- Using a wooden barbeque skewer, pierce the fruit to pick it up, dip it into the yoghurt, and use another skewer to pop it off onto the baking tray.
- Repeat until you have used up your fruit, or filled up your tray
- Place in the freezer for at least 2 hours
- When frozen, either eat, or pop them into a freezer bag to keep ready for when you need a snack
Notes
Try these with different types of fruit (raspberries/strawberries) and different flavours of yoghurt
