Ingredients

- 3 slices Kingsmill crustless wholemeal bread
- 1 tbsp chocolate spread
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Low calorie cooking spray
- 1/2 tbsp sweetener
Instructions
- Spread half of the chocolate spread on 1 piece of bread, then layer on the next slice, spread the rest of the chocolate spread on this one and place on the final slice.
- Beat up the egg with the vanilla essence in a shallow bowl, and then pop the sandwiched bread into the egg, push it gently to soak it up, and turn it over to cover the other side. Soak up as much of the egg as possible into the bread
- Spray low calorie cooking spray into a non-stick frying pan or pancake pan, and then bring to a high heat. Pop the eggy bread into the pan, turn down the heat a little, and fry gently for 2 minutes.
- Turn the sandwich over, and again bring the heat up high for 30 seconds or so, then bring down a little and fry gently for 2 more minutes.
- Sprinkle with sweetener, turn again, and cook for another minute on each side with a little sweetener sprinkled on each time.
- Serve with fresh raspberries or strawberries.
Notes
Try replacing one layer of the chocolate spread with peanut butter or raspberry jam, also awesome!
