QUICK SWEET POTATO FRIES

It’s not rocket science, but it is a lovely quick way to make these yummy treats!

Add the cayenne if you like a bit of a kick!

If you don’t have a chip mesh I recommend investing in one! You can often find them in Poundland or Aldi- or here on Amazon (click)

Description

Just a quick and easy way to make tasty sweet potato fries!

Syn-free

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • Frylight (I like Rapeseed or Sunflower)
  • salt and pepper
  • cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180c. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut into fries
  2. Place in a microwaveable bowl, cover with clingfilm (leave a little gap for steam to escape) and microwave for 3 minutes
  3. Remove clingfilm and spray thoroughly with Fry Light, turning gently (they are quite delicate now)
  4. Season to taste, and add cayenne if you like the kick
  5. Place onto a chip mesh (or onto a baking tray covered with baking paper) and bake for 12-15 mins (keep an eye on them as they burn easily)
  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 15 minutes
