Peanut butter oatcakes

A satisfying and tasty breakfast or snack which will fill you up! 

This is one of my favourite breakfasts on a day when I want something warm, filling and to fulfil a little bit of a sweet craving. The powdered peanut butter is a brilliant way to make these taste amazing without adding lots of syns Find it here on Amazon.
Use the oats as youtr HEB, and a dash of milk from your HEA to keep these super low syn. I like mine spread with a low syn chocolate spread (I love this one from Waitrose: Seriously chocolatey chocolate spreadwhich is 3 syns per tbsp.


My Recipe

Serves: 1
Syns: 2.5
Healthy Extra: B (plus a dash of milk from A)


  • 35g porridge oats
  • 12g powdered peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • dash of milk


  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, and divide into muffin cases, pre-sprayed with Frylight
  2. Bake at 180c for 15-20 minutes until golden brown

Lovely spread with chocolate spread or strawberry jam!
