Fresh pesto tastes very different to shop bought, and this low-syn version is delicious
Syns: 1.5 per tsp
juice of 1/2 lemon
Large pinch coarse sea salt
Using a mini chopper, whizz together the garlic and pinenuts
Add the basil, whizz again
Add oil, whizz again
Add the grated parmesan, lemon juice and salt and whizz until all combined
My favourite way to serve this is with rigatoni, fresh green beans and chopped bacon fried until it's crispy. So delicious!
