Zesty chicken nuggets
Deliciously crispy, golden chicken nuggets
Syns: 1 per portion
wholemeal bread from a 400g loaf
whizzed up into breadcrumbs
zest 1 lemon
of dried thyme
salt and pepper
Cut the chicken into chunks
Add the lemon zest, thyme and salt and pepper into the breadcrumbs
Dip each chicken chunk into egg, and then coat in breadcrumbs
Remove the paddle from your Actifry, and brush the teaspoon of oil over the cooking pan
Place the nuggets around the pan, leaving a little space between each, and put on to cook for 7 minutes
After 7 minutes, re-insert the paddle, and cook the nuggets for a further 7 minutes.
If you don't have an Actifry and would like to oven bake these, place them on a baking tray, spray with oil, and bake for 15-17 minutes at 180c.
