Breakfast eggy crumpets
This recipe is from Jamie Oliver's 'Jamie at Home' book (available here on Amazon) - since we first had this it has been a real favourite for my husband and I- it's super easy to do but qualifies as a 'special' breakfast in our house! You might feel a bit doubtful about the addition of the chilli, but please try it (if you generally like chilli) it works SO well with the rest of the ingredients. We always have ours with brown sauce although Jamie says you can also use maple syrup.
Skinny Carbonara (Jamie Oliver)
I recently bought Jamie Oliver's latest recipe book Everyday Super Food (click here), so many of the recipes look brilliant, but this is the first one that I fancied trying- it's pretty far from a traditional carbonara, but it really was delicious, and I definitely recommend trying it!

This recipe is from Jamie Oliver (Click here for his version) but I have adjusted it slightly to remove oil and unecessary fat.
Bloody Mary Beef
I've been dying to try out this recipe as it looked mouth-wateringly good in the Jamie's Comfort Food book (click here). I've neglected this book since starting Slimming World as a lot of the food in it is pretty decadent, but when I looked again at this recipe I realised that it's actually very Slimming World friendly! I made a couple of small adjustments but it makes a gorgeous, rich meal with very few syns.
Roast chicken breast with lemony bombay potatoes
This is one of those dishes which tastes so good for not a lot of effort! It's quick to do and uses nice basic ingredients that you are likely to have in the cupboards. The syns are in the little bit of olive oil that everything is tossed around in, and you can remove this if you wish and spray with Frylight to make it syn free.
